underconstructionThere is a variety of public art across West Ward (particularly in the CBD:

  • SE Cnr. Pacific Highway & Help St – this was supposed to be a water feature but the water as soon turned off
  • Chatswood Mall (near rail entrance) granite seating
  • The Concourse Foyer – electric blue art
  • The Concourse Library lake – stainless steel ‘ship’
  • Railway St – horse
  • Railway and Macintosh Sts – Blue Gum Forest in bushed aluminium
  • Archer St, St Pius College – religious art

Note also that many of the office buildings on the western side of the station have distinctive ‘hats’. This written into the planning regulations for these buildings.
