1. PURPOSE OF REPORT
To inform Council that Development Application 2016/18/A for ‘alterations to the building envelope, addition of two adaptable units at level 10 of building A, addition of bedrooms, changes to basement level 3 and associated internal and external changes to the approved shop-top housing development” at 654-666 Pacific Highway, 1 Freeman Road and 2A Oliver Road, Chatswood’ will be considered by the Sydney (North) Planning Panel at its meeting of 14 February 2018. The original proposal was regionally significant development as identified in Schedule 4A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act (EP&A Act). It had a capital investment value (CIV) over $20million. The current Section 96(2) modification application is therefore reported to Sydney North Planning Panel (SNPP) for determination.
Members of the Sydney (North) Planning Panel should retire from Council Chambers during the consideration of the Agenda Item.
2. OFFICER’S RECOMMENDATION
That Council receive the Assessment Report referred to the Sydney (North) Planning
Panel for determination for DA-2016/18/A seeking approval for alterations to the
building envelope, addition of two adaptable units at level 10 of building A, addition of
bedrooms, changes to basement level 3 and associated internal and external changes
to the approved shop-top housing development at 654-666 Pacific Highway, 1
Freeman Road and 2A Oliver Road, Chatswood
